Beverly Ann (Zwart) Feenstra was born on May 27, 1955 to Melvin and Alice (Beukelman) Zwart in Parkston, SD. She graduated from Corsica High School in 1973. On October 5, 1973 Bev was united in marriage to Darrell Feenstra at Grace Reformed Church in Corsica, SD. She was employed at the Corsica Globe for 32 years which contributed to her excellent typing skills. She also worked at the Good Samaritan Society, Custom Printing, with Home Health Care and was a Secretary at Dakota Christian School.

Beverly was a member of the New Holland Christian Reformed Church and active in Ladies Aide. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, playing the piano and organ and being an accompanist for Dakota Jubilee. Family was very important to her; Bev loved her grandchildren and was proud to attend their events. She would make them “coffee milk”, play downstairs, give them Mule rides around the farm and go climbing and running on the hay bales. She loved to spoil them and spend as much time with them as possible.

Grateful for having shared in Beverly’s life: her husband of over 43 years, Darrell Feenstra of Harrison, SD; two children: Greg (Wendy) Feenstra of Huron, SD and Mindy (Chad) Rezac of Crooks, SD; three grandchildren: Alexis Feenstra, Brady Feenstra and Jack Rezac; her mother, Alice Zwart of Corsica, SD; a brother, Alan (Trish) Zwart of Larchwood, IA; a sister, Carmen (Bryan) Neugebauer of Dimock, SD; in-laws: Roger (Norma) Feenstra, Jay (Dianne) Feenstra all of New Holland, SD, Karen (Harvey) Odens and Jolene Feenstra all of Sioux Falls, SD; a family friend, Marilyn VanZanten of Sioux Falls, SD; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Zwart and parents-in-law, Andrew and Johanna Feenstra.
