Lillian Larson

Lillian Delores Larson, 94, died on January 24, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Center in Corsica. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Christian Reformed Church in Corsica with burial following in Graceland Cemetery in Corsica. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 5 - 7 PM at the Christian Reformed Church in Corsica. Arrangements by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Corsica/Armour.

Lillian Delores Larson was born on September 8, 1915 in Corsica, SD to John W. and Susan (Stadt) DeVelder. She graduated from Corsica High School in 1934. After graduation, she attended beauty school and worked as a beautician in Minnesota and Mitchell, SD. She married Herbert Larson on January 27, 1945 in Seattle WA. Lillian was devoted to her husband of 66 years. They lived in Longview, WA and Sioux Falls, SD for a short time, but spent most of their life in Corsica where they farmed. Lillian was a member Christian Reformed Church in Corsica. She enjoyed flowers, family, and traveling. On their 50th wedding anniversary, they traveled to Holland and Denmark. She died at the Good Samaritan Center in Corsica on January 24, 2010 at the age of 94.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert, Corsica, SD, daughter-in-law, Kathy Pettersen, grand-daughters Tracy Lea and Kayla James, and great-granddaughter Zuri Lea, all of Longview, WA, and many, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her children, James L and Linda, 4 sisters and a brother.
