Margaret married Gradus J. Veurink on February 12, 1943, and to this union 4 children were born. Gradus and Margaret farmed north of New Holland for 32 years. Margaret worked at the Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center as a nurse aide, medication aide and restorative care aide and also earned her GED during that time. In recent years she resided at Leisure Living and Good Samaritan Society - Corsica.

Margaret loved her faithful Savior, Jesus Christ, and spoke of Jesus as her friend, who never left her side. She made profession of her faith as a young adult and was a member of the New Holland Christian Reformed Church her entire life. She was an active member of the Hosanna Club for many years.

Besides her Savior, Margaret’s greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest wish for them was that they would know Jesus as their Savior and live their lives for His glory. She is fondly remembered for her enthusiasm for life, for finding the best in each situation, and for her sense of humor. She was a generous hostess and enjoyed having people at her home. Margaret enjoyed working hard, as well as helping and serving others. She was so very dear to her family and will be deeply missed.

The family requests that memorials be given to Dakota Christian School or Good Samaritan Society- Corsica.
