Irene Bosma, 96, died at her home in Corsica on Sunday, March 17. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 21 at 10:00 AM at Grace Reformed Church in Corsica with burial following in Graceland Cemetery in Corsica. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at Grace Reformed Church in Corsica with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Arrangments by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Armour.

 Harvest for Hunger for CHS Farmers Alliance.

1. Food Challenge going on at the Corsica High School. For 7-12 grades. The class with the most food will get to put a pie in the face of a faculty members.
2. 50/50 Drawing. At the Farmers Alliance Office. The tickets are as following. 1 for $1.00, 6 for $5.00, 1/2 wing span for $10.00 and Full wing span for $20.00. If you bring one can of food in and you will receive a dollar off the following $5, $10, #20.

TOP-YOUR-TATER SUPPER. Please join us at the Harrison Community Church on Wed. March 27 from 5-7:30 for our annual Top-Your-Tater Supper! We will be serving savory baked potatoes with all the fixin’s as well as salads and desserts. Bring your family and bring some friends for a fun evening of fellowship. Located at the South Church in the Faber Center. Freewill donation. Sponsored by the Ladies Guild. Proceeds will be going to mission projects. See you there!

From the SD Highway Patrol report:

Troopers responded to a vehicle vs. School bus crash east of Huron. The driver of a Chevy Trailblazer experience vehicle problems and stopped the vehicle on the roadway. The school bus following behind the Trailblazer was unable to avoid the vehicle and struck the Trailblazer before traveling into the median. Fortunately both drivers and all 30 students were not injured in the crash.
