Tylor Stetson

Tylor Ryan Stetson, 25, went to his heavenly home Thursday, April 10, 2025 at his home in Corsica.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 15 at 10:30 a.m., with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m., at Grace Reformed Church in Corsica. Memorials would be preferred in lieu of flowers.

Tylor was born August 24. 1999 to David and Jamie Stetson in Denver, CO. Tylor was always a very happy child, and at a very young age moved to SD with his grandmother Cindy Starrett. He grew up in Armour and Corsica. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and with the members of the Corsica Community who always welcomed him with open arms.

Tylor was the friendliest person in town, and enjoyed talking and helping others. He graduated from Corsica-Stickney High School in 2018, and decided to stay in the town and community he loved. He pursued many interests in the last seven years. From being involved on the football and basketball teams, to assisting with many auctions, starting his own auction company- Stetson Auction Service, and helping anywhere possible with the local fire department and EMS. His favorite time of year was when he was competing in the Huron State Fair Auction competition.

One of his biggest passions was the local ambulance and fire department. He often was seen at the garage to open and close doors and to help wherever was needed. He had such a passion for helping others, that he decided to begin taking classes to become an EMT. His dream was to be part of the Douglas County EMT Service.

Tylor is survived by parents David and Jamie Stetson, grandma Cindy Starrett. Brothers Robert (Shayla) DeFranco, Keith (Macy) Stetson, sister Tabitha (Kyle) Miller, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many more.

Tylor is preceded in death by his great grandparents DeLayne and Carol Irwin, grandparents Richard and Patty Stetson, grandpa Jerry Starrett, uncle Mic Irwin, and cousin Jessica Davis.
